
In “Norm of the North,” out Friday, a polar bear heads to New York to stop a real estate magnate who wants to build condos in the Arctic. He probably doesn’t attack the guy, though that’s the MO for most movie bears.

One takes away many lessons from “The Revenant,” still in theaters. For example, if you stumble on some adorable grizzly cubs, enjoy looking at them, because they’re going to be the last thing you see if Mama is anywhere around.

The Fox and the Hound
Best friends Tod the fox and Copper the hound face down an angry bear in this 1981 Disney movie. That’s the last thing they do together, since the theme of the film is “some people can’t actually be friends because society sucks.” A perfect message for a kids movie.
